Kindergarten

September 6 was Avery's first day of Kindergarten!  She loves it and is doing well so far.  We have had a few incidents with the teacher, but I think it's more just trying to figure out her personality and learning how she relates to parents (which is to say, she doesn't relate all that well to parents).  There have been three different assistants in almost as many weeks, but we've gotten that issue settled and the third assistant looks like she's here to stay.  Avery has been super during all this change and really hasn't had any problems with any of it.  She has two really good friends and is already chasing boys on the playground--but "only because they keep saying me and Bella are their girlfriends!"  I haven't had a talk with her yet but I'm thinking it's coming soon.  She's fallen asleep during rest time almost every day AND she actually bought and ate her lunch three times this week.  I love that she is trying all these new things and is so ready and willing to do it.  Kindergarten has been great for her.
